Where do you hail from originally? Do tell!

"I was born and raised on a horse farm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. No I'm not Amish - I get that question all the time! Yes, my neighbors were Amish for most of my life. But me, nope!"

What would be on your list of "favorite things"?

(This is, of course, if you were Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music, obviously.)

"Jesus. Cookies, obviously. The Office. Laughing my buns off. Singing. Middle Eastern food. Documentaries. National Holidays. The smell of rain on Pavement. "

Tell your fans a bit about yourself!

"I'm honestly ridiculous. LET'S LAUGH. My faith is important to me. I'm from a family of nine children. I'm the owner, lead photographer and lead editor of Sarah Gehman Photography. I'll be the one emailing and contacting you! I've been a professional wedding cake consumer / photographer for weddings (all over) since 2012, and let me be real with ya'll. I. LOVE. MY. JOB. I'm not sick of it. Nope - not one bit! I like to have a LOT of fun and I'm most likely going to try to make you laugh (and hope to succeed). My life is a musical. I think cookies count as a meal, if enough are consumed. But, I also love kale. *shrugs"

Which part of the wedding day do you love to photograph the most and why?

"Bring on the bride and groom portraits, please! THIS is where I come alive, creatively. I love capturing these portraits because I know that these are the portraits that will be passed down for generations and have to stand the test of time. Wedding days can feel overwhelming, so I love to steal the bride and groom and leave space for them to relax and enjoy each other while having lots of fun."

BONUS / EXTRA SAUCE:

1. I was voted class clown in high school. 

2. I gave my life to Jesus when I was thirteen at a youth retreat and haven't been the same since. Can I get an amen?! 

3. My family used to have TONS of kittens and my sister's and I would train our kittens and race them against each other.  (I'm aware you can do nothing with this information.)
